This is not part of the Chicago Cross Cup. So go crazy and double up on the day to see if your body revolts halfway through your second race. Or maybe try racing in a different category than you usually do. Give the masters a shot and see how you hang racing with a different set of guys. If you are a truly a masochist, bury yourself in the 1/2/3 race and see if you can put out for 60 minutes.
The race schedule is a little bit different than the CCC schedule, however, they’ve wisely left the 4B carnival for the end of the day to finish everything off with a bang. They’ve also added a single speed category. Take advantage of one of the last times to race in a dedicated single speed class before the NYR race. See start times here.
